How Does Professional Coaching Work?

We will start with an initial in-depth assessment of your goals, your work situation, your strengths and the potential obstacles you are facing. A part of this initial assessment will happen during our sessions together, and a part of it will be homework for you in between our meetings.

Based on this initial assessment, we will develop a practical plan to improve your performance in a sustainable way. We will take into account findings from decision science, neuroscience, and psychology to optimize your systems and routines.

While you start new practices, we will keep analyzing how these are working out for you. I will help you trouble-shoot and fine-tune so you can strengthen and master your habits.

Working with Ursina Teuscher

Ursina has a very non-judgmental, accepting presence. She was raised in a Swiss-German culture which emphasized a balance of smart, efficient achievement and practicality.

She can help you improve your work performance using an advanced skill set drawn from:

  • A PhD in Applied Psychology and postdoctoral research in Cognitive and Behavioral Neuroscience

Rates and Packages

Individual Sessions – $160 per 45 minutes

Three month coaching package – $1440 (a 25% discount compared to 12 individual sessions). This package includes:

  • Twelve coaching sessions
  • Online support between sessions

Throughout the three-month period, you will have regular check-ins with me over the phone or online as needed.   • A copy of the workbook: Increasing Personal Productivity in Healthy and Sustainable Ways

“Increasing Personal Productivity in Healthy and Sustainable Ways” highlights findings in neuroscience and psychology that teach us how to improve cognitive functioning, make better decisions, increase focus, etc. The workbook will help you apply these insights to your own goals. We will pull from these findings when we come up with ideas of how you can improve your own performance.

Six to nine month coaching package – $1900. This package includes everything from the three-month package, plus six follow up sessions. Typically the follow-up sessions will be spread out over more time, happening every other week or every month. They are intended to give you continued support and help maintain and further optimize the progress you’ve achieved during the first three months.
